These are the terms for using Amped. Plain-English, and a working draft that will be finalized before general launch. Using Amped means you agree to them.

Beta service

Amped is in beta and provided as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Readings are informational — do not rely on them for anything safety-critical about your vehicle.

Your vehicle

You must own the connected vehicle or have the owner's authority to connect it. You are responsible for the Tesla account you sign in with.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service, and do not use it to access data that is not yours. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Not affiliated with Tesla

Tesla is a trademark of Tesla, Inc. Amped is an independent third-party app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Amped's liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid to use the service — currently zero, while it is free in beta.

Changes

These terms may change as Amped develops. Material changes will be posted on this page. Ongoing use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions: hello@heyamped.com.
