FAQ
How does Amped calculate my Tesla's charging cost?
You set a flat-rate or time-of-use tariff in Settings, including day and hour windows if your utility prices differently by time of day. Every home charging session from your car’s Fleet Telemetry stream is priced automatically against that tariff.
What if a session isn't priced?
Amped shows "No cost" rather than guessing. That happens when no tariff was active for that charge, or the session happened away from home without a known rate.
Can I compare charging cost to gas?
Yes — add your fuel price and consumption in Settings and the charging analytics view shows a rough comparison. It’s explicitly labeled as an estimate that assumes your own fuel settings, not a guaranteed savings number.
